This role offers a unique opportunity to join our investment team as a Strategic Finance Associate, working closely with the Founder to drive investment decisions, portfolio management, and fundraising initiatives. The Role: Strategic Finance Leader

This is an exciting opportunity to join our investment team as a Strategic Finance Associate, where you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting financial modeling, and creating structured financial reports. You will also play a key role in overseeing portfolio performance, managing investment-related projects, and collaborating with the investment team to drive deal flow execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate investment opportunities, ensuring that they meet our investment criteria and have potential for high returns.
  • Conduct deep-dive financial modeling and analysis on both listed and unlisted investments, ensuring that the Founder has well-vetted data for decision-making.
  • Participate in deal flow evaluation meetings, ensuring that only the most strategic and high-potential opportunities are presented to the Founder.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with portfolio companies, ensuring that they receive the necessary support and guidance to achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with the investment team to identify and pursue new investment opportunities, ensuring that our investment pipeline remains robust and diverse.

Investment Analysis & Decision-Making

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and modeling on investment opportunities, ensuring that the Founder has a clear understanding of the potential risks and rewards.
  • Present investment recommendations to the Founder, highlighting the key benefits and risks associated with each opportunity.
  • Work closely with the investment team to evaluate and select the best investment opportunities, ensuring that our investment strategy is aligned with our overall objectives.

Portfolio & Financial Oversight

  • Oversee portfolio performance tracking across all active investments, ensuring that the Founder has real-time insights on performance, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial models, ensuring that our investment decisions are data-driven and informed.
  • Provide regular financial updates and analysis to the Founder, ensuring that they stay informed on portfolio performance and investment progress.

Fundraising & Investor Relations

  • Work closely with the fundraising and investor relations teams to ensure that LP communications are structured, tracked, and reported in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with investors, ensuring that they receive timely and accurate updates on investment progress and portfolio performance.
  • Collaborate with the investment team to develop and implement fundraising strategies, ensuring that our investment pipeline remains robust and diverse.

High-Pressure Decision-Making & Time Optimization

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the Founder, providing insightful and actionable advice on investment decisions and portfolio management.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with portfolio companies, ensuring that they receive the necessary support and guidance to achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with the investment team to identify and pursue new investment opportunities, ensuring that our investment pipeline remains robust and diverse.

About You

You are a highly analytical and detail-obsessed finance professional with a passion for driving financial excellence. You possess exceptional analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of financial markets and instruments.

You are a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive collaboration across functions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or asset management.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, investment analysis, and deal structuring.
  • Deep understanding of LP dynamics, fundraising strategies, and portfolio tracking mechanisms.
  • Excellent business writing skills, with the ability to craft structured financial reports, investment memos, and high-impact communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.

Compensation & Benefits

Total Annual Package: 26,50,000.
Fixed Salary: 20,00,000.
Annual Retention Bonus: 3,25,000.
ESOP Grant: 3,25,000.
