Cyber Security Consultant Role Summary:

This is a crucial position within our organization that focuses on maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity.

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to join our team and provide expert guidance in managing critical security vulnerabilities and patch deployment across Unix/Linux infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Linux, IAM (Identity and Access Management) knowledge, and expertise in Unix-based environment patching and Apache server vulnerability management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Security Engineering team to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in Unix/Linux environments
  • Assist with patching and administering Linux systems to ensure seamless operations
  • Update configurations to close security gaps and resolve Apache vulnerabilities, including Zero Day exploits

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals and IAM components
  • Proven experience with Unix-based environment patching and configuration management
  • Hands-on experience with Apache server vulnerability management and security configuration
