Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned veterinary professional to lead our educational initiatives as an Academic Veterinary Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality course content, training students in animal health practices, and collaborating with our team to ensure the relevance of our training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging course materials and training sessions that meet real-world veterinary standards.
  • Train and mentor students in foundational and applied animal health practices, emphasizing hands-on learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with staff to stay up-to-date on industry developments and ensure our training programs remain relevant and effective.
  • Lead interactive workshops, hands-on training sessions, and support learners in achieving their goals.
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess a Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) degree, with a Master's degree in Veterinary Science (MVSc) preferred. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills, experience in education or training, and a strong sense of responsibility towards student learning outcomes.
