Job Title: Internal Audit Manager

The role of the Internal Audit Manager is to lead the audit function within an organization. This involves planning, coordinating and executing audits to ensure that business processes are operating effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of audit plans, including checklists and process flowcharts;
  • Communication with process owners before commencement and participation in process understanding meetings;
  • Conducting detailed analyses and audit reviews in line with the audit plan, preparing draft reports to communicate findings and recommendations;
  • Execution of individual/group audits defined in the audit plan, ensuring the highest level of service quality and client satisfaction;
  • Effective working with teams and engaging with various stakeholders;
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities;
  • Engagement in opening and closing meetings with auditees to discuss audit scopes, findings, and action plans;
  • Maintenance of clear, concise, root cause analysis-based audit reports providing value to management;
  • Documentation and maintenance of audit work papers;
  • Regular interaction with the Reporting Manager to report the status of Internal Audit's ongoing activities, apprise the Reporting Manager of significant risks or exposures related to internal controls, compliance, and/or governance requiring prompt attention;
  • Ongoing audit support for pre-audits, concurrent audits, domestic and inter-state site visits, etc.;
  • Openness to travel as per the requirement of the audit.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field;
  • Professional certification in auditing (e.g., CIA, CISA);
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably in a managerial capacity;
  • Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
