Business Intelligence Analyst

The role of Business Intelligence Analyst is a pivotal position within an organization, requiring the transformation of raw data into actionable insights. This involves ensuring timely and accurate reporting to inform key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver regular performance reports, encompassing daily, weekly, and monthly analyses.
  • Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards using business intelligence tools to visualize complex data.
  • Present insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through compelling data storytelling.
  • Maintain data accuracy by extracting, cleaning, and validating from multiple systems.
  • Support workforce management with forecasting and trend analysis to optimize resource allocation.
  • Recommend process improvements based on data-driven insights to enhance organizational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and confidentiality standards to protect sensitive information.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in data analysis and reporting within a similar environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, coupled with strong analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Solid understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL) and ability to query databases effectively.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills to convey complex information.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate data insights effectively.
