Cloud Migration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Migration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in migrating services from on-premises data centers to cloud platforms.

  • Migrate and re-engineer existing services to cloud platforms
  • Develop and implement solutions that meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Design and implement automated operations tools for monitoring, notifications, trending, and analysis
  • Document current and future configuration processes and policies

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Experience 3 to 6 years
  • Hadoop knowledge, NiFi/Kafka experience
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Python/Java
  • Good understanding of GCP components like GCS, BigQuery, AirFlow, Cloud SQL, PubSub/Kafka, DataFlow, and Google Cloud SDK
  • Experience in Java, Spring Boot framework, and JPA/Hibernate is preferred
  • Understanding of Terraform script and Shell script
  • Experience with RDBMS
  • GCP Data Engineer certifications are an added advantage
  • Knowledge in Data Warehouse / ETL and BigData Technologies like Hive, Spark, NiFi
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environment for handling support & execution activities
  • Good understanding of DWH/Data ingestion/Data Engineering concepts
  • Familiarity with Jenkins, Ansible, git, CI/CD
  • Flexibility to adopt new technologies/skills
  • Familiarity with GCP, Scheduling tools like Control-m, TWS
