Job Role:

Linux/Unix Systems Administrator Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux/Unix Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support for Linux/Unix systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux/Unix administration, with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in this field. You will be responsible for configuring and maintaining server infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance, as well as developing and implementing processes and procedures to ensure quality services and meet client expectations.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to propose process and technical improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional administrative support for Linux/Unix systems.
  • Configure and maintain server infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure quality services and meet client expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose process and technical improvements.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a Linux/Unix System Administrator.
  • Expertise in at least 2 flavors of Unix, with Linux being a must.
  • Deep understanding of Linux OS and ability to handle day-to-day admin tasks.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to fix system down issues.
  • Ability to handle critical and high-severity technical bridges.
  • Puppet/Ansible knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of clustering, virtualization, and capacity management analysis.
  • ITIL certification and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Keen to learn new development methods and technologies.
