Job Opportunity for Creative Writers

We seek skilled writers to collaborate on the evaluation and improvement of large language models.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality content or rubric definitions and prompt evaluations, focusing on linguistic relevance and cultural awareness.
  • Update rubric definitions with region/language-specific examples to ensure cultural and linguistic accuracy.
  • Identify areas requiring additional rubrics tailored to specific languages or regional contexts.
  • Analyze prompts translated from English into the target language, revising where translations appear unnatural or inaccurate.
  • Compose thoughtful prompts that assess the cultural awareness of LLM models.
  • Evaluate prompt-response pairs using a standardized template based on rubrics, providing detailed justifications.
  • Document problematic outputs, annotating them with clear explanations of rubric violations or cultural insensitivities.
  • Required Skills:
  • Native proficiency in the target language and deep familiarity with cultural norms in the corresponding region.
  • Experience in LLM evaluation, content moderation, or linguistic QA is beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail, enabling identification of subtle issues in language use, tone, and cultural references.
  • Comfortable working in spreadsheets and evaluation templates.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or PhD resources in relevant fields are required.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior experience in content/creative writing, prompt engineering, or LLM testing is an asset.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, or similar LLM platforms is advantageous.
  • Ability to articulate reasoning behind rubric ratings or prompt edits clearly.
