Performance Engineering Specialist

    Role Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Engineering Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work on designing and implementing performance testing strategies that drive business value.

  • Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize performance testing needs, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Analyze performance data to provide actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Design and implement test automation solutions to optimize testing efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute comprehensive performance tests to validate system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness.
  • Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, working closely with development teams to resolve issues and improve overall system performance.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics dashboards to provide real-time visibility into system performance.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to integrate performance testing into the overall software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in performance testing life cycle activities.
  • Proficient in NFR analysis and breaking requirements into test scenarios.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting and execution using JMeter, LoadRunner, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and Splunk tools.
  • Experience with different protocols like Web Services, Ajax Truclient, MQ Protocol, SAP, JAVA, etc.

Desirable Skills:

  • Able to write basic DB queries.
  • Knowledge of basic Unix commands.
  • Proficient in understanding and presenting various performance testing metrics.
  • Ability to execute and monitor different types of performance tests like Load, Stress, Endurance, Scalability tests.
