Sr Lead Copywriter, Creative:

We're seeking an individual with a strong background in ideation and writing craft, preferably from an Ad Agency experience.

As a Copywriter at PhonePe, you'll have an exciting role with creative freedom to develop witty ideas and interact with multiple teams (Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Category Marketing, Offline, Social, and Revenue) to ensure you're always learning and doing something new.

An eye for detail, impeccable grammar, and non-negotiables like craft, insight, and ideation are essential. You'll weave narratives infused with creativity and craft compelling messages, playing a major role in shaping the creative direction of our ads. Your copy will be read by over 48 Cr Indians.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Copywriter/Content Designer/Creative Writer/Wordsmith/Copy specialist.
  • A storyteller who can cook up ideas in an interesting format.
  • A brainstormer who can collaborate on ideas with ease and engage external stakeholders.
  • A researcher who can delve deep into product, category, or target audience insights.
  • A charmer with words who possesses excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A fighter who can stand up for creatives and justify decisions with rationale.
  • Proficient at crafting headlines, slogans, catchphrases, straplines, and body copy for print, scripts for radio jingles, promotional videos, and TV commercials, as well as content creation for social and digital platforms.
  • Thick-skinned and able to bounce back upon receiving feedback.
  • A jack-of-all-trades who can work on diverse content - Social, Print, Product, Marketing, Activations, TVCs, Radio.
  • A math lover who can create fact-filled, interesting, and appealing content while working around metrics.
  • Able to ensure alignment of proposed creative solutions with brand guidelines and personality.
