Job Title: Automation Engineer

Our company is looking for a skilled and experienced Automation Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automation tests for our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop UI automation tests for web and mobile applications using tools like Selenium and Playwright.
  • Write and maintain API automation tests for backend services using tools like Postman and scripting frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers to define test strategies and ensure automation coverage across frontend, backend, and mobile applications.
  • Investigate test failures, analyze logs, and provide detailed defect reports.
  • Continuously improve automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for test scripting.
  • Experience with UI automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Proficiency in API testing and automation using Postman/Newman or similar frameworks.
  • Understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and agile practices.
