Senior Financial Crime Management Specialist

This role involves working closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with engagement project leads to deploy financial crime management solutions in customer environments.
  • Work with customers' technical and business teams to ensure seamless implementation of financial crime solutions.
  • Act as product owner:
    • Support all phases of deploying financial crime solutions, including installation, patches, upgrades, configuration, testing, and go-live.
    • Discuss and document client environment configurations.
    • Avoid recommending solutions not aligned with company policies and procedures.
    • Adopt and contribute to best practices for knowledge dissemination throughout the implementation process.
    • Understand system security principles, particularly around user authorization and authentication methods.
    • Strong customer interaction skills and ability to assess clients' IT processes and strategies.
    • Lead clients through integrating financial crime solutions into their operational environments.
    • Mature, self-starting, and capable of making independent decisions.
    • Travel globally based on project requirements.
    • Create business requirement documents, functional specifications, technical specifications, and other related documents.
    • Perform data mapping from external core systems to product data models.
    • Work with R&D developers on extract, transform, load (ETL) for core system integrations.
    • Participate in pre-sales and request for information responses.
    • Lead analytics requirements for product roadmaps.
    • Research data to develop features and models identifying customer risk for fraud and money laundering in consumer banking.
    • Define and support analytics technology selections and proof of concepts.
    • Educate and support development teams in analytics content development.
Qualifications:
  • Experienced analyst with broad understanding of financial crime management solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product family.
  • More than 3+ years of experience in financial crime & compliance domain.
  • Anti-money laundering, fraud, and/or identity resolution experience in retail banking.
  • 3+ years' experience as business analyst or compliance system analyst/consultant.
  • 3+ Years' experience in NICE-Actimize or FCCM Mantas or any other AML solutions.
  • Good database and SQL scripting skills.
  • Operates independently to provide quality work products to engagements.
  • Performs varied and complex duties and tasks needing independent judgment to implement products and technology meeting customer needs.
  • Applies leading practices, company procedures.
  • Demonstrates expertise delivering functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.
  • Effectively consults management (IT/compliance) of customer organizations.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to build rapport with team members and clients.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
