About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead our category sourcing initiatives. As a Category Sourcing Lead, you will be responsible for driving strategic sourcing efforts across various categories, ensuring optimal value delivery to our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing industry trends and market data to inform sourcing strategies
- Developing and executing supplier strategies aligned with business objectives
- Generating and issuing tenders, negotiating agreements, and awarding contracts
- Managing relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Requirements:
- Proven track record in procurement, with at least 9 years of experience
- Strong understanding of strategic sourcing processes and practices
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Degree-educated with a professional procurement qualification (e.g. MCIPS)
