Forensic Investigation Specialist

As a digital forensic investigator, you will play a vital role in helping organizations respond to and manage cyber threats. Our team utilizes cutting-edge tools and technologies for ransom negotiations, cryptocurrency tracking, forensic analysis, and automated breach notifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough digital forensic investigations across various operating systems and environments.
  • Use specialized tools like Velociraptor to collect, preserve, and analyze evidence.
  • Perform endpoint, memory, and disk forensics to uncover attacker actions and persistence.
  • Develop targeted VQL queries for hunts and investigations.
  • Correlate forensic findings with security alerts, threat intelligence, and incident response casework.
  • Document findings with clear timelines and technical evidence suitable for reporting.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in digital forensics or incident response.
  • Hands-on experience with Velociraptor and at least two additional tools (Volatility, Autopsy, FTK).
  • Strong knowledge of system internals, registry analysis, and common attacker tactics.
  • Scripting ability to automate evidence extraction.
  • Solid understanding of chain-of-custody and evidence preservation best practices.
