Lead Technical Program Manager for Counter Drone Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Technical Program Manager to lead our counter drone team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical acumen and excellent leadership skills to drive the planning, execution, and integration of sub-systems of the counter drone system.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, integrating, and managing the full product life cycle from testing, deployment, and custom delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading development of advanced counter-drone solutions with hands-on technical guidance.
  • Driving project planning, roadmaps, and subsystem integration.
  • Collaborating with defense agencies, customers, and suppliers.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams across hardware, software, and QA.
  • Managing technical risks and resolving development challenges.
  • Overseeing system validation, field testing, and performance evaluation.
  • Ensuring compliance with ITAR, cybersecurity, and defense acquisition standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in systems integration, hardware development, and adherence to defense industry standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail are essential. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are also required to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executives.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 12-15 years of experience in technical program management, systems engineering, and product development in the defense and aerospace industry.
  • Proven leadership of cross-functional engineering teams managing complex, technically challenging projects.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and integrating advanced defense systems, with a focus on counter-UAV and counter-drone technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of defense acquisition procedures (DAP 2020).
