Job Description :

  • Conduct thorough analysis of data flows and models within large-scale projects, ensuring seamless integration and efficient processing.
  • Document end-to-end data lineage from source systems to the existing settlements platform, mapping it to the new platform while capturing all dependencies.
  • Data Requirements: Define detailed data specifications for the new system, including points, formats, validation rules, and transformation logic.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to develop and validate the data migration strategy, including reconciliation plans and cut-over procedures.
  • Data Quality: Work with stakeholders to establish metrics and implement controls to ensure smooth data transition.
  • Reporting & Reconciliation: Define requirements for new reports and reconciliation processes to support the new settlements platform.
  • Design optimal future-state settlement processes and solutions in collaboration with Technology teams, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust data management solutions.
  • Provide expert analysis and recommendations to stakeholders on data-driven initiatives and process improvements.

Requirements :

  • 4-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a data-centric role within the financial services industry.
  • Solid understanding of trade lifecycle and experience with post-trade settlement data.
  • Proven ability to perform complex data analysis, utilizing SQL for querying and manipulating data.
  • Practical experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Highly organized and able to work under pressure, managing deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
