Mid-Level Interior Design Position

We seek a highly skilled interior designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong design sensibilities, technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

The successful applicant will be responsible for creating concept designs, schematic layouts, and detailed drawings. They will also prepare and review working drawings, GFC sets, and interior detailing.

  • Develop and present design concepts that meet the needs of diverse clients.
  • Prepare and review detailed drawings, specifications, and other documentation.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed correctly.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct site visits and participate in client presentations and meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and related design/drafting software (Revit knowledge is an asset).
  • Strong grasp of architectural detailing, construction methods, and materials.
  • Ability to balance design creativity with practical execution.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently while being a team player.
