Job Title: Data Architect Leader

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect Leader to join our organization. We are looking for someone who can drive the design and implementation of data architectures that meet business needs.

  • Design and Drive End-to-End Data Architecture: Lead the development of end-to-end data architectures, from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry standards.
  • Data Modeling and ETL Development: Design, develop, and support conceptual/logical/physical data models for analytics solutions, leveraging expertise in ETL development using SSIS, Data Factory, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Industry Standards and Guidelines: Ensure adherence to industry-accepted data architecture principles, standards, guidelines, and concepts, integrating them with allied disciplines and coordinating roll-out strategies.
  • Azure Environment Setup: Drive the design, sizing, setup, etc. of Azure environments and related services, providing expert guidance on infrastructure and platform optimization.
  • Mentorship and Collaboration: Provide mentoring and guidance to development and business teams on data architecture design and requirements, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated Experience: Proven experience delivering multiple data solutions, with a track record of successful project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • ETL Development: Expertise in ETL development, including SSIS, Data Factory, and related Microsoft technologies, with a strong understanding of data integration and transformation.
  • SQL Server and Azure: In-depth skills with SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, HDInsights, and Azure Data Lake, with the ability to configure and administer all aspects of SQL Server.
  • Data Models and Governance: Familiarity with different data models, such as normalized, de-normalized, stars, and snowflake models, with experience in data quality management and governance.
  • Operational Dependencies: Strong understanding of operational dependencies, including applications, networks, systems, security, and policy, both on-premise and in the cloud.
