About Us

At our organization, we are seeking a Multifaceted Fashion Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in overseeing the merchandising process for woven garments.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will act as the key liaison between buyers, suppliers, and the production team. They will be responsible for ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication throughout the entire supply chain.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our design team to develop seasonal collections that meet customer requirements.
  • Develop samples, negotiate prices, and confirm orders with buyers.
  • Procure materials in accordance with timelines while continuously improving budget efficiency.
  • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail, possess strong independent working skills, and demonstrate adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Manage small and high-value businesses effectively.
  • Establish clear and concise communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise in woven garment manufacturing, including knowledge of various categories such as shirts, jackets, and bottoms.
  • Showcase leadership and management skills.
  • Demonstrate unwavering commitment to job responsibilities and strive for results-driven achievements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Apparel Merchandising, or Fashion Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
  • 1-8 years of experience as a merchandiser in a woven garment factory, preferably with buyer-handling experience.
  • Strong understanding of woven fabrics, garment construction, costing, and production processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP/MIS systems.
  • Ability to multitask, handle pressure, and meet strict deadlines.

Note: We are specifically looking for candidates from woven garment manufacturing units based out of Chennai. Candidates from knit-based units may not be considered for this opportunity. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further evaluation.
