Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing complex dynamic simulation process models and smart applications.

You will analyze project requirements, translate them into specifications and project deliverables, and produce timely and high-quality project delivery.

In addition, you will build and configure dynamic process and flow models for Oil & Gas Processes, run simulations for various scenarios with built models, conduct dynamic process and control studies, perform optimization and de-bottlenecking studies, and assist in Flow Assurance model building for Real-time production assurance systems.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Chemical Engineering, Advanced Process Control, Real-Time Optimization, Performance Monitoring, and First Principal modeling.

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (Master's degree is preferred).
  • 8+ years' experience in Refinery or Petrochemical operations / process controls / process Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop complex dynamic simulation process models and smart applications using Simulation and Optimization tools.
  2. Analyze project requirements and translate them into specifications and project deliverables.
  3. Produce timely and high-quality project delivery.
  4. Build and configure dynamic process and flow models for Oil & Gas Processes.
  5. Run simulations for various scenarios with built models.
  6. Conduct dynamic process and control studies.
  7. Perform optimization and de-bottlenecking studies.
  8. Assist in Flow Assurance model building for Real-time production assurance systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (Master's degree is preferred).
  • 8+ years' experience in Refinery or Petrochemical operations / process controls / process Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Advanced Process Control, Real-Time Optimization, Performance Monitoring, and First Principal modeling.
  • Skilled in modeling tools such as Aspen Hysys, KBC Petrosim, Technip Spyro, etc.
  • Certified on modeling and simulation platforms such as Aspen Plus / Hysys / Pro-II / Dynsim (advantageous).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, domain knowledge, and Chemical Engineering principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, and control logics.
Skills:
  • Modeling tools: Aspen Hysys, KBC Petrosim, Technip Spyro, etc.
  • Real-Time Optimization applications: ROMeo
  • Advanced Process Control applications: Rockwell Pavilion, Yokogawa smoc, Honeywell RMPCT, ASPEN DMC plus
