**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect to provide hands-on leadership for Behavioral Health and Care Solutions Delivery teams. This individual will work on multiple large-scale technology initiatives aimed at revolutionizing health services and healthcare delivery systems in the United States. The goal is to enhance our market-winning capabilities in Behavioral Health and Care Solutions by leveraging technology strategy aligned with our business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have strong business skills and experience, with either some experience working with technology teams or the ability to learn how to work effectively with them. They must exercise considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives. Using deep professional knowledge and acumen, they will advise functional leaders and focus on providing thought leadership while working on broader projects requiring understanding of wider business contexts.

This position will specifically be filling a Senior Enterprise Solutions Advisor role within Agile/Scrum and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) delivery process. The successful candidate will support multiple scrum teams, working closely with business partners to understand scope, engage in project requirement meetings, and decompose those requirements to define what our assets need to do to accomplish business and program objectives. They will then communicate these details to development teams.

This unique role offers the opportunity to collaborate with business partners and Behavioral Health and Care Solutions development and architecture team members. We are utilizing the latest technologies and development methodologies to enable this change.

**Responsibilities:**

  1. Work with business/project stakeholders to identify business needs and document application/system scope and requirements to ensure alignment with short-term and long-term company objectives.
  2. Collaborate with development leads and architects during scope, requirements, and design processes to fully document scope, requirements, and design related to business needs and estimate work effort to implement scope.
  3. Prepare detailed business, system, functional, and non-functional requirements documentation that development teams use to plan, develop, test, and implement application/system functionality.
  4. Coordinate activities with other technology and business organizations to ensure successful development and implementation of assigned work.
  5. Direct the team in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  6. Identify and drive process improvement opportunities.

**Qualifications:**

  • Years of experience: 13-16 years of experience.
  • College degree (Bachelor's) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience.
  • Rich experience in the healthcare domain, especially in care management and utilization management areas.
  • Familiarity with agile methodology, including SCRUM team leadership.
  • Familiarity with modern delivery practices such as continuous integration, behavior-driven development, and specification by example.
  • Proven experience with development of large-scale enterprise application solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving, influencing, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to execute with limited information and ambiguity.
  • Strong requirements elicitation, gathering, and documentation skills at business, functional, and technical levels.
  • Technical acumen to translate business needs into technical language and vice versa.
  • Strong knowledge in relational databases and No-SQL databases, Restful APIs, and one of the languages like Java, Python.
  • Strong knowledge in event-driven systems like Kafka, IBM MQ, or any other system.
  • Ability to manage customer requirements and scope discussions, as well as facilitate large groups (in person or over the phone) with little to no intervention.
  • Ability to lead, guide, and drive early scope decomposition and architectural runway.
  • Ability to collect and understand application solutions from the team and present options for business challenges.
  • Strong communication skills (ability to communicate at all levels), skilled at stakeholder management (setting and managing expectations), and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Adept at negotiating; able to resolve conflict and adapt to different approaches using various tactics.
  • Must have the ability to step into complex assignments and negotiate through to successful, appropriate solutions gathering consensus, delivering complex solutions incrementally with large teams.
  • Must have the ability to exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and performing analysis tasks. Some independent judgment required in setting priorities of tasks among multiple assigned projects.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA agile management application.
  • Strong time and project management skills.
  • Key participant in overarching Enterprise initiatives as well as work tied to enhancing processes and tools.
  • Key participant in discussions with key vendors identifying potential impact of their changes on our systems.
  • Helping production support in triaging production issues.
  • Answering key questions about system and latest enhancement.
  • Providing support to all stakeholders by answering their questions and concerns.
  • Reviewing high-level architecture and providing key inputs.
  • Provide high-level estimates for upcoming features.
