Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled astrodynamics specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the design, analysis, and optimization of satellite orbits.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze satellite orbits, including LEO, MEO, GEO, and interplanetary trajectories.
  • Develop and optimize orbital transfer strategies, station-keeping maneuvers, and end-of-life de-orbit planning.
  • Perform high-fidelity simulations of satellite missions using advanced algorithms and trajectory models.
  • Collaborate with systems engineering teams to integrate orbital designs into mission architectures.
  • Conduct trade studies to evaluate mission scenarios, orbit selection, and propulsion needs.
  • Generate detailed reports and visualizations of mission analyses to support decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering, Astrodynamics, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in orbital mechanics, including perturbation theory, multi-body dynamics, and relative motion.
  • Proven experience in orbit optimization techniques, such as low-thrust trajectory design, optimal control theory, delta-v minimization, and constellation management.
  • Proficiency in using simulation tools like STK, NASA's GMAT, Freeflyer, MATLAB, Python, or equivalent.
