Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Python developer to lead our data engineering initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of large-scale data systems, expertise in Python programming, and hands-on experience with Pandas for data processing.
Additionally, the successful applicant should have a solid grasp of ETL frameworks, pipeline automation strategies, and Elasticsearch indexing, querying, and optimization techniques.
A strong command of Hive SQL and working with distributed data systems is also required.
The chosen professional will be responsible for designing, developing, and automating scalable ETL workflows using Python and Pandas, implementing and managing data ingestion and transformation processes using Hive SQL for data warehousing, configuring, monitoring, and optimizing Elasticsearch clusters for indexing, searching, and analytics performance, and building and maintaining RESTful APIs using Flask to facilitate secure data exchange.
This role requires collaboration with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Engineering teams to support data-driven applications and reporting tools.
Key responsibilities include ensuring high standards of data quality, reliability, and integrity throughout the pipeline, monitoring performance, debugging issues, and tuning queries for maximum efficiency, and documenting data flows, pipeline architecture, and automation logic clearly.
