Accounting and Finance Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting and Finance Assistant to join our organization. As an Accounting and Finance Assistant, you will work on various functions including audits, accounting, tax, MIS, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in audits by preparing documentation, testing transactions, and drafting financial statements and schedules of an overseas Group. Additionally, they will support the preparation of tax filings and compliance documentation, stay updated on accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit and Financial Reporting: Assist in audits by preparing documentation, testing transactions, and drafting financial statements and schedules of an overseas Group.
  • Taxation and Compliance: Support preparation of tax filings and compliance documentation
  • Research and Standards Interpretation: Stay updated on accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory changes

Requirements:

  • Education: Pursuing or completed degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance—or IPCC/IPC qualification in progress
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), and comfort with Excel and tools like Tally, SAP or QuickBooks
  • Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, attention to detail, good communication and teamwork skills, time management
