Job Title: Critical Care Specialist

Job Description:

The Critical Care Specialist will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of critically ill patients. This will involve conducting thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, current health status, and ongoing needs. The specialist will also develop individualized care plans that address the unique requirements of each patient.

Key responsibilities include managing airway and respiratory compromise, treating acute renal failure, stabilizing cardiac arrhythmias, and addressing multiple organ dysfunction syndrome. Additionally, the specialist may be involved in intensive monitoring of patients following major surgery.

Requirements:
  • Ambitious individuals with a strong background in critical care medicine are encouraged to apply. Qualifications include MBBS with ICU experience or relevant diplomas/certifications such as DNB Anaesthesia, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care. Doctorate-level qualifications (e.g., MD) are also considered desirable.
  • Applicants should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. They must also demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Familiarity with key concepts in critical care, including hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and cardiovascular support, is essential. In-depth knowledge of pharmacology and clinical research methods is highly valued.
