Cybersecurity Threat Hunter

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Threat Hunter to join our team. As a key member of our security operations, you will play a critical role in detecting and analyzing security threats across our customers' on-premises, private cloud, public cloud, and multi-cloud environments.

Your primary responsibility will be to triage alerts and events, determining the validity of potential threats, and collaborating closely with key stakeholders to ensure timely incident response and resolution.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Detecting and analyzing security incidents, including malware and email headers
  • Investigating network security, intrusion detection, and prevention systems; operating systems; risk identification and analysis; threat identification and analysis; and log analysis
  • Escalation management and handling escalations from junior analysts
  • Proactive discovery of threats based on MITRE ATT&CK framework
  • Deep investigation and analysis of critical security incidents
  • Post-breach forensic incident analysis reporting
  • Reviewing weekly and monthly reports
  • Implementing new use cases created by junior analysts in cloud-native SIEM
  • Assisting with customer onboarding, including use case development and identifying data sources
  • Advanced threat hunting
  • Developing custom dashboards and reporting templates
  • Developing complex customer-specific use cases
  • Advanced platform administration
  • Solution recommendation for issues
  • Coordinating with vendors for issue resolution
  • Basic and intermediate playbook and workflow enhancements
  • Maintaining close working relationships with relevant teams and individual key stakeholders
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in threat hunting or similar roles
  • Proficiency in threat intelligence tools and technologies
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and regulations
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
