Technical Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced engineering manager to lead our commercial data team. The primary objective of this role is to develop and deliver leading property and market data insights to power our real commercial products.

This position involves end-to-end technical delivery of complex initiatives, providing technical guidance and leadership to the team, and contributing to the design and architecture of scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Technical Delivery: Lead the technical delivery of complex projects using agile methods and frameworks
  • Team Guidance: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the team
  • Data Solution Design: Design and architect scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions
  • Team Collaboration: Guide the team on effective ways of working within and across teams
  • Continuous Learning: Embrace continuous learning and leverage latest development trends to solve complex challenges

We are looking for a candidate with 8-13 years of experience as a developer who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys tackling technical challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience with SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, data pipelines, data consumption, data analysis and documentation, and data warehousing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Agile Methodologies: Lead development teams using Agile, Lean, and/or iterative releasing
  • Delivery Approaches: Knowledge of delivery approaches such as TDD, CI, and infrastructure automation
  • Code Quality: Demonstrate a commitment to code quality and a keen eye for detail
