Job Description:

As a Senior Software Development Engineer Leader, you will oversee the architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of large-scale critical and complex financial applications. Your expertise will drive end-to-end solution ownership, leveraging full-stack software development principles.

Your unique blend of technical prowess and leadership skills will enable you to tackle complex problems efficiently, utilizing the latest technologies to create scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software to meet the highest standards of quality and scalability.
  • Lead project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Research, create, and develop software applications to enhance Inovalon's product offerings, driving growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversight of front-end, back-end, or full-stack design and development of product features, focusing on scale, efficiency, and differentiated customer experiences.
  • Develop, test, deploy, and deliver scalable, multi-tiered software applications, systems, platforms, or services using modern languages, design patterns, frameworks, and technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, gather information, participate in design reviews, and contribute to strategic planning to deliver exceptional user experiences for our software applications, systems, platforms, or services.
  • Maintain confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and adherence to all regulatory requirements throughout your work.
  • Fulfill responsibilities aligned with Inovalon's policies, procedures, and mission statement, driving operational and financial success.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of object-oriented coding languages (C++, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems (AngularJS, Git).
  • Ability to learn new languages and technologies swiftly.
  • Excellent communication skills, resourcefulness, and troubleshooting aptitude.
  • Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages (C#, Objective C, JavaScript, or Go).
  • Capacity to select and implement algorithms, utilize appropriate data structures, interpret algorithms, and contribute ideas to their development.
  • Strong software development experience delivering at scale solutions and systems design skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver within a DevOps delivery model from scoping requirements, requirement analysis, design, development, test, CI/CD, security implementation, and operational excellence.
  • Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience.
