Job Title: Systems Engineer - Power System Studies

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining power system studies to ensure safe and reliable grid operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create PSCAD models to simulate and analyze power system behavior.
  • Conduct control parameter studies to optimize system performance.
  • Perform dynamic performance studies to assess system stability and response.
  • Carry out Sub-synchronous torsional interaction studies to identify potential issues.
  • Conduct harmonic stability studies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with international teams to develop innovative solutions.
  • Develop training programs for external clients and impart knowledge effectively.
Requirements:
  • Excellent understanding of power system dynamics and control systems.
  • Proficiency in PSCAD modeling software and programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
