Position: Sr. Process Associate

Requirements:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Professional to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing US federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses. Your expertise will ensure accurate data collection, compliance with IRS regulations, and timely processing of tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review US federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses (Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, etc.)
  • Collaborate with internal teams and US clients for accurate data collection and return processing
  • Stay updated on IRS regulations and tax law changes
  • Respond to tax notices and support tax planning activities
  • Ensure all tax filings meet compliance standards and deadlines
  • Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality of client records

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in US taxation
  • Familiarity with tax software such as Drake, Lacerte, or CCH
  • Good understanding of IRS rules and state tax requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment:

This is a night shift position, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be based at our office in Chennai and will be required to work Monday to Friday, with Saturdays and Sundays off.
