Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Leader

As a seasoned leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management:
    • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps professionals to foster growth, accountability, and performance.
    • Conduct regular one-on-one sessions, performance reviews, and development planning to ensure team members reach their full potential.
    • Encourage a culture of learning and experimentation, identifying and grooming future leaders within the team.
    • Champion diversity, inclusion, psychological safety, and team motivation to create a positive work environment.
  • Cloud Infrastructure and Release Management:
    • Own the end-to-end DevOps lifecycle, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), infrastructure as code (IaC), observability, and incident management.
    • Coordinate release management activities to ensure safe, timely, and reliable production deployments.
    • Act as a gatekeeper for production changes, enforcing proper change management documentation and rollback plans.
    • Oversee cloud infrastructure with a focus on high availability, resilience, and cost optimization.
    • Guide the creation of runbooks, knowledge bases, help guides, and automation of operational tasks.
  • DevOps Best Practices:
    • Drive IaC adoption using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
    • Optimize CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deploy automation.
    • Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards, including PCI-DSS and ISO 27001.
    • Own and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting practices using tools like ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in release management, production deployment planning, and execution.
  • Experience coordinating cross-team production releases, including change management and communication.
  • Strong cloud infrastructure experience, with AWS required and multi-cloud experience a plus.
  • Expertise in scripting languages, including Python, Bash, JavaScript, Go, Java, or PHP, a plus.
  • Proficient with Kubernetes containerization and orchestration at scale.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation and IaC.
  • Proven experience managing DevOps in a 24x7 production environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and large-scale deployments.
Nice to Have:
  • Certifications, such as AWS DevOps Engineer Certified or Kubernetes Admin CKA.
  • Experience in regulated fintech environments, including PCI-DSS and RBI compliance.
  • Experience mentoring remote and globally distributed teams.
  • Proven success in driving process improvements using DevOps/SRE principles.
  • A passion for secure infrastructure and proactive threat mitigation.
