As a Microbiology Research Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in substantiating antimicrobial claims for new projects. You will provide microbiological support for the development of innovative products across various categories.

You will be part of a global team of microbiologists who drive data generation, analysis, and recommendations around antimicrobial performance of personal care and surface care innovations. Your vision will be to contribute towards continuous improvement of laboratory procedures and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support product development teams in substantiating antimicrobial claims for new projects
  • Plan and conduct experiments to evaluate the antimicrobial efficacy of prototype formulations and finished products according to global standards
  • Contribute towards continuous improvement of R&D laboratory procedures and best practices
  • Maintain laboratory records in compliance with quality standards
  • Liaise with external laboratories to ensure timely delivery of results

To succeed in this role, you should have experience working in the FMCG or cleaning and hygiene product manufacturing industry with hands-on experience of conducting antimicrobial performance evaluations using global standards like EN, ASTM, and ISO. You should also be a self-starter with a hunger to learn and excellent communication skills to interact effectively with the global team members.
