Job Summary

Manufacture precision tools and dies with high quality standards for efficient production. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of tool making techniques, proficiency in engineering drawings, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Die Production: Develop and maintain a wide range of dies and tools using various materials and techniques.
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and modifications to existing dies and tools.
• Operate Advanced Machinery: Utilize CNC machines, milling, lathe, surface grinding, and EDM equipment to produce complex die components.

Design and Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with design and production teams to ensure feasibility and improvements. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs to produce accurate and precise die components.

Quality Assurance and Safety:

Inspect die dimensions, accuracy, and finish using precision measuring instruments. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling dies.

Documentation and Performance Metrics:

Accurately document die history cards, maintenance logs, and tool life records. Track key performance indicators such as timely completion of new die development, reduction in die-related breakdowns, and first-time-right success rate in die trials.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of tool making techniques, proficiency in engineering drawings, and excellent problem-solving skills are essential for this role. A qualification in tool and die making or equivalent technical experience is required. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in die making, repair, and maintenance is preferred.
