The Role

As a Taxation Manager, you will be responsible for leading our Indirect Tax function and ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the Indirect Tax function across the group's businesses.
  • Ensuring timely GST registrations, amendments, payments, and filing of all GST returns.
  • Tax optimization, identification, and resolution of probable Indirect Tax issues.
  • Effective handling of all Indirect tax litigations, including drafting replies, appeals, and personal hearings.
  • Representation of business-related issues.
  • Indirect tax transaction advisory and vetting.
  • Handling of GST assessments and audits.
  • Optimizing input tax credits and ensuring no leakages.
  • GST accounting and reconciliation.

Requirements

  • Candidate should have CA qualification with relevant experience in Indirect Tax.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, Customs, Service Tax, VAT law, and Foreign Trade Policy Export benefits.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Excellent liaisoning skills with proven track record of dealing with Tax authorities/investigating agencies.
  • Capacity to work under high pressure and meet deadlines.
