About this role:

We're seeking a seasoned test engineer to lead our QA team and define testing strategies for large, multi-region projects. You will work closely with developers, DevOps, and stakeholders to ship robust e-commerce and PWA features at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for complex systems
  • Create automation frameworks for web and APIs using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
  • Perform API, performance, and security testing
  • Debug issues using logs, DB queries, and network traces
  • Collaborate with junior testers to mentor and review test plans
  • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable releases

Requirements:

  • 4–8 years' QA experience in the E-commerce domain, with at least 2 years in senior roles
  • Proven ability to plan and execute test strategies for complex systems
  • Hands-on with automation tools and API testing
  • Familiarity with performance and security testing tools
  • Experience testing Next.js, PWAs, and responsive/mobile apps
  • Strong debugging skills across logs, databases, and networks
  • Leadership qualities: mentoring, reviews, and stakeholder communication

Typical Problems You'll Solve:

  • E-commerce checkout complexities (promos, split shipments), inventory race conditions, order lifecycle bugs, multi-store/multi-currency mismatches
  • PWA and Next.js hydration errors, service worker stale data, offline failures, performance slowdowns, SEO & accessibility gaps
  • API and integration intermittent 5xx, token refresh failures, payment gateway timeouts, webhook idempotency issues
