Analog Layout Engineer Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement analog layouts for semiconductor devices, incorporating considerations of layout-dependent effects.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of analog layout concepts, including BGR, LDO, OPAMP, ADC, DAC, and matching techniques to optimize performance.
  • Implement full custom layouts with consideration of layout-dependent effects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on critical tasks as needed, fostering open communication and cooperation.

Requirements:

  • A solid foundation in semiconductor and analog layout fundamentals is essential for success in this role.
  • Hands-on experience with block-level scratch layout work, floorplanning, placement, routing, and physical verification is necessary to meet project demands.
  • Proficiency in working with 28nm/22nm/14nm/7nm/5nm/3nm/2nm node processes is required, along with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
