Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to support our team in Bengaluru, India. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, collaborate with talented colleagues, and contribute to the success of a growing organization.

As a Data Test Automation professional, you will have the chance to utilize your skills in data engineering, data warehouse testing, and automation of QA testing using Databricks. You will also be responsible for building reusable functions and classes, writing complex PySpark and SQL queries, and identifying and test data preparation techniques.

The ideal candidate should have experience in testing multiple phases in medium to large projects, data analysis, including profiling, auditing, balancing, and reconciliation, as well as defect tracking and tuning SQL queries for performance improvements.

In addition, the successful candidate should have knowledge of data models and entity relationship diagrams, data masking methodologies, and metadata management tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ Years of Quality Assurance experience on enterprise level applications which includes Data Engineering, Data Warehouse Testing.
  • Knowledge on Azure, ADF, ADB, Synapse is good to have.
  • Have experience on Automation of QA testing using Databricks, building reusable functions and classes.
  • Experience in writing complex PySpark and SQL queries, ability to determine the types of testing that must be conducted (i.e., data validation, regression, etc.), including evaluating the testability of requirements and create a comprehensive test plan that supports the business and technological solutions being delivered.
  • Should have experience testing multiple test phases in medium to large projects.
  • Should have adequate experience and clear understanding of data warehouse and data mart testing.
  • Identification and Test Data Preparation Techniques.
  • Extensive exposure to Back-end/ETL Testing with high-level of SQL skills is required.
  • Should have exposure to large data sets and understand Data Quality Framework.
  • Experience in data analysis, including profiling, auditing, balancing, and reconciliation, in an information technology operating environment.
  • Defect tracking experience (i.e. Jira, Bugzilla, etc)
  • Experience in tuning SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Views, etc for performance improvements
  • Knowledge of data models and entity relationship diagrams
  • Knowledge and experience in data masking methodologies - Familiar with Meta Data Management tools
