We are seeking an experienced Policy Review Specialist to join our team. As a Policy Review Specialist, you will be responsible for periodic review of policies to reflect changes in regulations, industry standards, and organisational goals.

  • Ensure policies are consistent, comprehensive, and aligned with the organisation's risk management framework.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop new or update policies as needed.
Regulatory Compliance

You will monitor and assess regulatory developments and their impact on existing policies. Ensure organisational policies comply with applicable laws, regulations, and standards (e.g. ISO, SOX, Regulatory guidelines, etc.).

Stakeholder Collaboration

As a Policy Review Specialist, you will partner with business units (BUs and BUROs) to ensure policies address operational risks effectively. Provide guidance to departments on implementing and adhering to policies and operational controls aligned to policy requirements.

  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops or training to enhance awareness and understanding of key policies.
Risk Management & Gap Analysis

You will conduct risk assessments to identify potential policy gaps or areas of non-compliance. Recommend improvements to mitigate risks associated with outdated or inadequate policies.

  • Develop a road-map for policy updates and revisions.
Policy Governance & Reporting

Establish and maintain a robust policy governance framework. Maintain a centralised repository of all organisational policies and ensure version control.

  • Prepare reports and dashboards for senior management on policy compliance status and key updates.
Training & Communication

Develop and deliver training programs for employees on new and updated policies. Communicate policy changes effectively across the organisation.

  • Promote a culture of compliance and ethical behaviour through policy awareness campaigns.
The Successful Applicant

We are looking for someone with analytical skills to assess risks and identify gaps in policies effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to engage stakeholders.

  • A strong focus on ensuring policy accuracy and regulatory compliance is required.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams or managing policy-related projects is necessary.
  • Familiarity with policy management software and tools (e.g., GRC platforms) is a plus.
  • Skilled in identifying issues and proposing actionable solutions.
