Role Overview

Our organization seeks a skilled Radio System Specialist to join our team.

In this position, you will apply your comprehensive radio design and engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You will work alongside innovative, collaborative, and dedicated colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the delivery of N&T Sub-System Radio specifications and architecture that align with the System Delivery Plan.
  • Working closely with teams across the business (installation teams, cybersecurity teams, power experts) to develop Radio Design requirements.
  • Conducting Radio Interference and trackside surveys, as well as preparing and executing Radio configuration files throughout the project lifecycle.

Required skills and qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor's or Masters degree in Engineering.
  2. Experience or understanding of radio deployments in industrial environments.
  3. Knowledge of Wi-Fi protocols and radio propagation.
  4. Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques (spectrum analyzer, IP analyzer).
  5. A certification in network or radio engineering is desirable.
  6. Resilience and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively and lead technical coordination efforts.
