Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving Automation Testing and quality delivery for Evernorth program deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and testing of software products.
  • Define test processes, including required test activities, deliverables, and test schedules.
  • Closely interact with onsite and offshore team members, including Scrum masters, developers, Product Owners, and QA teams.
  • Define test data conditions and partner with the Data team to obtain the necessary data.
  • Participate in all phases of testing, including In-sprint functional testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive suites of automation test plans and test cases for inclusion in regression, automation for newly integrated features, and development of tool sets to augment QA and Development testing.
  • Analyze failure patterns and determine corrective actions to eliminate errors completely.
  • Adhere to the organization's Quality Engineering best practices while helping to drive changes to our testing practices where necessary.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance with automation experience preferred.
  • Experience using programming languages with core concepts in Java/Typescript.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman/Insomnia.
  • Thorough knowledge/experience in Quality Engineering best practices and applying them to automation frameworks.
  • Experience in understanding application architecture for web-based or mobile applications.
  • Working experience with JIRA/Zephyr or equivalent tools.
  • Knowledge of Automation Frameworks that includes products such as Playwright/CodeceptJS, Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured products with focus on reusability.
  • Knowledge in Git based source control tools like GitLab/GitHub/Bitbucket.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Gitlab for automated test executions.
  • Knowledge with Relational Database/SQL/NoSQL/backend testing.
