Mobile Application Specialist Job Description

Overview of the Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Application Specialist to develop high-performance mobile applications for Android and iOS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build advanced mobile apps using React Native, focusing on performance, scalability, and user experience.
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases, including peer-reviewing code changes and implementing best practices.
  • Work with native modules when required, leveraging knowledge of Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) technologies.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and other backend services to enhance app functionality.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, adhering to industry standards and optimizing mobile performance.
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs and performance issues, ensuring smooth app operation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with expertise in state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
  • Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns, with knowledge of software development principles.
  • Experience working with tools like Firebase, Axios, React Navigation, and Git, as well as familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with mobile security best practices, Agile Scrum methodologies, and mobile app submission processes.
  • Ability to write unit and integration tests, with strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions, with knowledge of App Store and Play Store submission processes.
  • Background in software development, with a focus on mobile applications and cross-platform development.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
