Job Title: Data Engineering Lead

 

We are seeking an experienced data engineering professional to lead our team.

 

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale data engineering projects, leading cross-functional teams of data engineers, analysts, and scientists to design, develop, and deploy data pipelines and architectures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data integration and processing systems.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

    • Develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica BDM, Informatica IDQ, and Informatica Cloud Services.

    • Work with various databases such as Oracle, Netezza, Snowflake, Azure SQL, and Hive to ensure seamless data flow.

    • Ensure high-quality data through advanced SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization techniques.

    • Apply agile methodologies like requirement analysis, test case development, production support, performance tuning, data modeling, and data validation.

    • Implement scheduling and automation tools like Automic, Query Surge, and Jitterbit to streamline workflows.

    • Provide leadership and delivery expertise in offshore/onshore team management, L2/L3 support, peer reviews, release management, and client communication.

    • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration among team members.

 

Requirements:

    • 14+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.

    • Strong understanding of ETL, data warehousing, and business intelligence concepts.

    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.

    • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

    • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
