Cloud Support Engineer

We are seeking a Cloud Support Engineer with expertise in designing and deploying scalable, secure cloud infrastructure solutions. In this role, you will provide technical support, troubleshoot cloud-based infrastructure issues, and ensure the optimal performance of our cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and deploy reliable and secure AWS infrastructure solutions.
  • Support hybrid and multi-cloud environments with a working knowledge of GCP and Azure services.
  • Optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and scalability.
  • Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch or Newrelic.
  • Enforce security best practices, including IAM policies and network segmentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve technology capabilities and provide recommendations.
  • Ensure the smooth running of all technology systems, networks, and applications, and manage any incidents that arise.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience working with AWS with exposure to on-premise environments.
  • Cloud management experience (security, reliability, optimization, cost management & IAC).
  • Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud architecture and connectivity solutions.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Github.
  • Experience of collaborating with and supporting other technical teams.
  • Experience in utilizing Atlassian tools to manage, monitor, and plan workloads.

  • Strong focus on security, performance, availability, and recovery.
