Oracle Apps Technical Consultant Job Overview

This position is a critical part of our technical team, focusing on designing, developing, and maintaining RICE components.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows.
  • Provide technical solutions for Oracle EBS modules, including Financials, SCM, HRMS, and others.
  • Develop PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and APIs to support business requirements.
  • Create and customize Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, and Oracle Forms.
  • Develop interfaces and integrations using standard APIs, Web Services, and Oracle Integration approaches.
  • Perform Data Migration & Conversions (legacy to Oracle).
  • Support upgrades and patches, ensuring compliance with CEMLI standards.
  • Performance tuning of SQL queries, reports, and concurrent programs.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  • Follow Oracle AIM / OUM methodology for documentation and delivery.

Technical Requirements:

  • Oracle EBS R12 Technical Development (10+ years).
  • Strong in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms & Reports.
  • Experience in BI Publisher, Oracle Workflow, OAF (Oracle Application Framework).
  • Experience with Integrations (Web Services, REST/SOAP, UTL_HTTP, DB Links).
  • Knowledge of CEMLI development standards and Oracle Support tools.
  • Exposure to Upgrades (12.1 to 12.2) and patching.
  • Familiarity with Unix Shell scripting and control files for data conversions.
  • Understanding of Oracle APIs for standard modules.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Cloud Integrations (Oracle Fusion Cloud, OIC).
  • Familiarity with Apex or VBCS for custom app development.
  • Experience with Performance tuning at DB and application level.
  • Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
