Healthcare Administrative Specialist

About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized administrative professional to join our team as a Healthcare Administrative Specialist. In this role, you will provide critical support to our healthcare operations team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional patient care.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Submit and monitor prior authorization requests with insurance companies and healthcare providers, ensuring timely follow-up and maintaining detailed documentation.
  • Assist in identifying and reaching out to qualified caregivers and healthcare professionals, supporting applicant communication and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicate directly with clients to understand their care needs and relay information to the Home Health Agent, keeping thorough and organized client intake notes.
  • Manage digital files, email communications, call logs, and data entry, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all tasks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and document handling.
