Video Editor Position

The Video Editor is responsible for editing all video and audio content to ensure high-quality output.

  • Edit video content for post-production.
  • Create and edit graphics for videos when needed.
  • Maintain consistency in quality and length of company-produced videos.
  • Coordinate timely uploads of final products to relevant social media platforms.
  • Implement the use of voice over, music and other necessary multimedia elements when applicable.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Manager on scheduling productions and meeting deadlines.
Key Qualifications
  • At least 3+ years experience in video editing; a background in news broadcasting or advertising is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in software such as Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro or similar.
  • Ability to follow complex instructions accurately.
Additional Skills
  • Familiarity with politics and Indian democracy.
  • Understanding of special effects, animation, 3D and compositing.
  • Capacity to remain calm under pressure and adapt to fast-paced work environments.
  • Prioritization of tasks and problem-solving skills are essential for success.
  • A strong attention to detail and clear verbal communication are required.
