Ascend Capital is a rapidly growing Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) headquartered in Jaipur, focused on commercial EV financing. Co-founded by IIT and IIM alumni, Ascend Capital is at the forefront of the EV revolution and has recently closed its Series A round to power its growth phase.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Compliance Officer/ Administrative Services Manager at Ascend Capital in Jaipur. The incumbent will be responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks, maintaining statutory registers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizing board meetings, and managing communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating with Board Members and Shareholders, planning and arranging Board meetings, and ensuring pre- and post-meeting compliances such as the preparation of agendas, minutes, and their timely circulation.
- Filing forms with the ROC and RBI, and keeping regulatory compliance up-to-date.
- Ensuring regular and timely filing and proper maintenance of all records and documents related to meetings, including agendas, meeting notices, resolutions, attendance sheets, minutes books, and required registers.
- Demonstrating strong skills in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, deeds, documents, NDAs, Share Purchase Agreements, Joint Venture (JV) agreements, etc.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Professional Certification by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
