Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Nexus Power. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily quality operations, ensuring all activities are carried out acceptably and cost-effectively. This includes collaboration with corporate divisions to provide a smooth and effective supply chain process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily quality operations and ensure all activities are carried out acceptably and cost-effectively.
  • Collaborate with corporate divisions to provide a smooth and effective supply chain process.
  • Collect and verify indent requirements before processing purchase requests.
  • Purchase raw materials and instrumentation from local and overseas vendors.
  • Source vendors, collect offers, negotiate, and purchase materials as per company requirements.
  • Maintain thorough paperwork for all consignments and perform record-keeping activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels, reorder points, and coordinate with buying to reduce damages and losses.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders for office supplies and follow up on their receipt.
  • Audit and budgeting, and various report preparations.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and vendors.
  • Experience in industrial chemical procurement.
  • Excellent time management skills for timely procurement and delivery of goods.
  • Knowledge of import, export, and foreign procurement of goods.
  • Ability to work comfortably with large and complex datasets in Excel.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in business administration, operations management, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in operations and procurement.
