ESG Expert

As a key player in shaping the ESG landscape of India's leading enterprises, we seek an exceptional professional to join our team. This high-impact role intersects sales, sustainability, and innovation.

This expert will:

• Conduct insightful discovery conversations with senior executives to comprehend their ESG concerns.
• Customize and deliver platform demonstrations, effectively mapping capabilities to specific client pain points and ESG requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for ESG-related queries, providing in-depth insights on frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD, SEBI BRSR, etc.), carbon accounting, compliance, and assurance.
• Develop comprehensive solution proposals and presentation decks, clearly outlining how GovEva addresses client challenges, including solution design, value articulation, and future steps.
• Nurture partially qualified prospects through thought leadership, peer analysis, case studies, and ROI calculations.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Product teams to ensure consistency of message and collective efforts to win and retain business.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• 3–6 years of experience in ESG consulting, sustainability advisory, or pre-sales for an ESG SaaS product.
• Strong familiarity with ESG frameworks, reporting standards, and assurance practices (GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD, BRSR, CSRD).
• Proven track record of conducting client discovery, building business cases, and delivering demos in enterprise B2B environments.
• Exceptional storytelling abilities – able to translate complex ESG and compliance requirements into tangible business impact.
• Comfort in preparing solution documents, proposals, and ROI models that resonate with CFOs, CSOs, and board-level stakeholders.
• Strong research and analytical skills to prepare peer benchmarking and market insights.
• A consultative, client-centric mindset with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly.
• Bonus: Experience with ESG software platforms, SaaS workflows (multi-tenant, role-based access, data collection workflows), or carbon accounting tools.
