Expertise in silicon design engineering is required for this role. As a collaborative team member, you will work closely with architects, hardware engineers, and firmware engineers to develop new features for cutting-edge products.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand new feature requirements and develop test plans.
  • Estimate the time needed to write feature tests and make necessary changes to the test environment.
  • Design directed and random verification tests using UVM testbenches.
  • Investigate test failures to determine root cause and collaborate with RTL and firmware engineers to resolve design defects.
  • Review functional and code coverage metrics and modify or add tests as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in IP level ASIC verification and debugging firmware and RTL code using simulation tools.
  • Experience with Verilog, System Verilog, C, and C++ programming languages.
  • Familiarity with graphics pipeline knowledge and developing UVM based verification frameworks and testbenches.
  • Strong background in the C++ language and good understanding of UVM concepts and SystemVerilog language.
  • Working knowledge of SystemC and TLM with some related experience.
  • Scripting language experience: Perl, Ruby, Makefile, shell preferred.
